Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will manage the dispensing of medications, counsel patients on their prescriptions, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. You will play a key role in promoting health and medication adherence within the community.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and dispense medications accurately.
  • Provide expert advice to patients regarding their medications.
  • Work closely with physicians and healthcare teams to optimize patient treatment plans.
  • Conduct medication therapy management sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in medication dispensing.
  • Participate in patient education programs.
  • Review and monitor drug interactions and contraindications.
  • Assist in managing pharmacy operations and team performance.
  • Evaluate and recommend new medications and therapies.
  • Contribute to public health initiatives and community outreach.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent qualification
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting
