Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in East London. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing and overseeing various construction projects, ensuring quality and compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills and a strong understanding of engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Analyze survey reports and geological data.
• Coordinate with external consultants and specialists.
• Ensure all project specifications are met within budgetary constraints.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Maintain comprehensive project records and documentation.
• Develop sustainable engineering practices.
• Engage with community stakeholders to address concerns.
• Promote collaborative teamwork within the department.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering projects

• Civil 3D
• Structural Analysis Software

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
• Civil Engineering Technician (CET)

Languages

• English: Fluent
