Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of mechanical systems, including design and development processes. You will be tasked with creating innovative solutions and improving existing systems to enhance efficiency and performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop prototypes and conduct testing to validate designs.
• Optimize existing mechanical systems for improved performance.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure effective implementation.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Foster innovations by suggesting new engineering techniques.
• Collaborate with teams on the integration of mechanical systems with other disciplines.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and bids.
• Ensure all engineering work meets client specifications and regulatory standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Postgraduate qualification preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the mechanical engineering field
