Job Description

We are inviting passionate Mechanical Engineers to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will have experience in mechanical design and will work on exciting projects aimed at pushing the boundaries of technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of mechanical components and systems.
• Analyze project requirements and perform engineering calculations.
• Work closely with manufacturing to ensure optimal production methods.
• Respond to customer feedback and integrate improvements into designs.
• Conduct root cause analysis to resolve engineering issues.
• Maintain project documentation and specifications.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on engineering practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in mechanical design or engineering

• SolidWorks

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PrEng) certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in the Renewable Energy sector: Familiarity with mechanical designs used in renewable energy systems.
