Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Cyber Security Analyst to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing security measures to protect our systems and data. You will work closely with IT and management to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks, ensuring the organization’s cyber resilience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze security breaches to determine their root cause.
• Keep up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends and best practices.
• Prepare detailed reports on security incidents and recommend improvements.
• Evaluate new security technologies and implement where appropriate.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Work with law enforcement during investigations of breaches.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security or related field
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years in cybersecurity analysis
