DevOps Engineer

Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer based in Port Elizabeth, you will be pivotal in bridging the gap between development and operations. We are looking for someone who is adept with automation tools and has experience with cloud infrastructure to ensure our services run efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure best coding practices are followed.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for operational efficiency.
• Maintain and improve system reliability through automation.
• Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform.
• Work with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Provide on-call support for production environments.
• Develop and document processes for deployment and testing.
• Participate in code reviews and assist in technical decision-making.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role
