Job Description

We are seeking skilled Sawing Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders to join our dedicated team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating and maintaining saw machines to produce wood components efficiently and with precision.

Responsibilities

• Set up machinery for different types of wood processing tasks.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of raw materials and production supplies.
• Facilitate communication between different production departments.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to all workplace policies.
• Identify and resolve any potential bottlenecks in the production line.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent qualification
• Additional technical qualifications in manufacturing are an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering setting

Technical Skills

• CNC programming
• Wood processing knowledge

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Familiarity with CAD software: Experience with CAD tools for technical drawing interpretation.
• Knowledge of safety regulations: To ensure compliance with safety standards in the workshop.
