Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Production Supervisor to oversee our production lines in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring production efficiency, quality control, and team management within a dynamic environment. You will collaborate with various departments to enhance overall production processes and ensure adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead production meetings and coordinate daily operations.
• Monitor production outputs and quality metrics.
• Participate in root cause analysis for production inefficiencies.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment.
• Schedule and oversee maintenance of production equipment.
• Collaborate with HR for staffing the production line.
• Review and approve production reports and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for production activities.
• Foster a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork and efficiency.

Requirements

Experience

• 5+ years in production supervision or management within a manufacturing setting

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Six Sigma Certification: Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies for quality improvement.
