UX Designer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a UX Designer to join our Johannesburg team. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, create thoughtful design solutions, and drive the user experience strategy for our digital products. Your role will involve user research, wireframing, prototyping, and user testing to validate design decisions. Be a part of a dynamic team that values innovation and creativity.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user testing and gather qualitative data to inform designs.
• Design and specify new product interactions and experiences.
• Create visually appealing and functional UI designs.
• Align design objectives with overall business objectives and user goals.
• Collaborate with UX researchers to evaluate usability and design effectiveness.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to design thinking.
• Ensure that designs adhere to branding guidelines and design standards.
• Propose creative solutions to complex user experience challenges.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or equivalent experience
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of practical UX design experience

Languages
