Job Description

Looking for a dedicated Clinical Psychologist who can provide high-quality mental health care and support to individuals in our community. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to address their psychological needs.

Responsibilities

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Develop and facilitate workshops on mental health awareness.
• Conduct crisis intervention and support when necessary.
• Participate in case consultations with multidisciplinary teams.
• Assist in the development of community outreach programs.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards in practice.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Psychology or related field
• Clinical Psychology license or registration

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience

• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Psychological Assessment

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Communication

Certifications

• Registered Psychologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

• Experience with mindfulness-based therapy: Knowledgeable in techniques that integrate mindfulness into therapeutic practices.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms: Experience in providing psychological services via online platforms.
