Job Description

We are seeking a Telecommunications Engineer to be part of our energetic team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be pivotal in designing, implementing, and maintaining communication systems. This role requires in-depth knowledge of network architecture, protocols, and the latest technologies in telecommunications. You will work closely with other engineering teams to ensure seamless communication infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new telecommunications technologies for practical application.
• Oversee network installations and configurations.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies for compliance checks and updates.
• Document system design and network diagrams for future use.
• Participate in cross-functional team meetings to strategize projects.
• Develop contingency plans for telecommunications outages.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications or Electronic Engineering
• Master's degree in a related field is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in telecommunications projects
