As a Safari Tour Leader, you will be responsible for leading groups of tourists through the stunning landscapes of Johannesburg and its surrounding game reserves. Your role will involve educating guests about wildlife, ensuring their safety, and creating memorable experiences. If you have a passion for nature and adventure, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct tours in a safe and informative manner.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior guides.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment for guests.
• Document tour highlights and share them on social platforms.
• Ensure the vehicle and equipment are maintained and in top condition.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Tourism Management, or a related field.
• Postgraduate qualification is a bonus

Experience

• 3+ years experience in tour guiding or hospitality roles.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Conservation
• Logistics Coordination

Soft Skills

• Customer Service
• Leadership

Certifications

• FGASA Level 1 Certification
• Wilderness First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Fluency in more African languages: Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus for engaging with diverse guests.
• Experience in marketing tourism: Background in promoting tourism experiences through various platforms.
