Job Description

An Interchange Agent is responsible for facilitating transactions between different currencies for clients, ensuring a seamless experience while optimizing customer satisfaction. The role requires excellent communication skills and a keen understanding of financial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients.
• Process and verify foreign exchange transactions efficiently.
• Manage cash and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Educate clients about currency exchange processes and fees.
• Reconcile discrepancies in transaction records.
• Monitor currency trends to advise clients effectively.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required, but a high school diploma is preferred.

Experience

• No experience required; previous experience in customer service or finance is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Office Suite
• Point of Sale Systems

Soft Skills

• Strong mathematical skills
• Customer service orientation

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

• Fluency in multiple languages: Preference for applicants who can communicate in more than one language.
