Warehouse Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee operations in our Cape Town facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the warehouse team, optimizing inventory management, and ensuring all operations run smoothly. You will play a critical role in maintaining high standards for productivity, safety, and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the warehouse team and ensure tasks are completed correctly.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in stock audits.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Train new staff on procedures and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Monitor equipment and material needs and report issues as required.
• Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in warehouse operations.
• Assist in resolving team conflicts and promote teamwork.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Management or Logistics is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations with supervisory experience

• Data Analysis

Certifications

• Certified Warehouse Logistics Professional (CWLP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
