Job Description

We're on the lookout for a dedicated Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize our logistics operations in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire supply chain process, ensuring efficient movement of goods, and improving our logistics strategies to enhance service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead logistics planning and execution to ensure delivery goals are met.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with carriers, suppliers, and service providers.
• Monitor and evaluate logistics performance metrics to ensure service quality.
• Resolve logistics issues and provide solutions to operational challenges.
• Train and develop logistics staff to enhance team performance.
• Collaborate with the finance department to manage logistics budgets effectively.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in supply chain management.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in the logistics sector

• Project Management

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous
