Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will possess strong design skills and experience with manufacturing processes. You’ll be responsible for developing solutions to complex engineering challenges and ensuring all projects align with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain engineering documentation.
• Conduct root cause analysis for product failures.
• Assist in quality assurance and inspections.
• Lead design reviews and technical presentations.
• Work closely with manufacturing teams to optimize processes.
• Support client meetings and presentations.
• Research new technologies and engineering advancements.
• Ensure continuous compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and analysis

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Manufacturing Processes

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Problem-Solving

Certifications

• Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with robotics and automation: Experience in working with automated systems and robotics.
