Job Description

As a Project Manager based in Johannesburg, you will lead and direct projects from conception to completion, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Your role will involve managing the project team, engaging with clients, and driving project success through effective planning and organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of multiple concurrent projects.
  • Encourage a culture of collaboration and innovation within teams.
  • Manage external vendors and contractors to ensure project success.
  • Prepare budget proposals and track expenses throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Motivate and mentor project team members to achieve their goals.
  • Ensure effective stakeholder management and communication.
  • Utilize project management software to track progress and reporting.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture
  • Master's degree is a plus

  • 8+ years of proven experience managing large-scale projects
