Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Penetration Tester to join our cybersecurity team in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will utilize various testing methods to identify vulnerabilities in our systems and applications, ensuring robust protection against cyber threats. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our IT and security teams to develop and implement effective security measures.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement penetration testing engagements.
• Analyze and report on the effectiveness of existing control measures.
• Advocate for security enhancements based on testing outcomes.
• Coordinate with third-party security vendors as necessary.
• Act as a subject matter expert in security practices and tools.
• Participate in industry forums and share knowledge on best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security or related field
• Master's degree a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles
