Warehouse Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, and will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and staff management within the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of warehouse operations and logistics.
• Develop strategies to improve warehouse efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure that warehouse operations meet customer service standards.
• Monitor warehouse layout and design to enhance productivity.
• Conduct performance reviews for warehouse staff.
• Maintain an organized and safe working environment.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) effectively.
• Implement training programs for new hires and ongoing staff development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Management, or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5-7 years of experience in warehouse operations management

• Data Analysis

• Team Management

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification
• Certified Logistics Associate (CLA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Sesotho: Conversational

• Background in operational efficiency projects: Experience leading projects aimed at improving operational processes.
