We are seeking a passionate Allied Health Therapist to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic services to improve the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our clients. You will work within a diverse team to deliver personalized care, employing evidence-based practices and innovative approaches.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental examinations and diagnose dental conditions.
• Conduct treatment plans for patients based on their needs.
• Administer anesthesia and perform surgical procedures as necessary.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Work collaboratively with dental hygienists and staff.
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote dental health.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent.
• Additional qualifications in specialized areas (e.g., orthodontics, periodontics) preferred.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in dental practice with a focus on patient-centered care.

• Restorative Dentistry

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Sesotho: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience with digital dentistry tools: Familiarity with software and tools used for digital impressions and 3D printing in dentistry.
• CPR Certification: Current certification in CPR to ensure patient safety in emergencies.
