Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Tire Builder to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating lap machines to produce high-quality tires, while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate machinery for optimal performance.
• Document production data as required.
• Assist in training new team members on lap machine operations.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to manage inventory of raw materials.
• Follow all company safety protocols and policies.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
• Additional qualifications in Quality Control is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the manufacturing sector.

Technical Skills

• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Certified Production Technician (CPT)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Understanding of CNC programming: Experience with CNC machine operation and programming is highly advantageous.
• Experience with quality assurance processes: Familiarity with systems that ensure product quality throughout manufacturing.
