Job Description

We are seeking a reliable Structural Engineer to join our Pretoria office. In this role, you will be tasked with creating innovative and sustainable structural solutions while adhering to budget and time constraints. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all projects are both structurally sound and aesthetically pleasing.

Responsibilities

• Utilize engineering software to simulate structural performance.
• Coordinate with contractors during the construction phase.
• Evaluate material specifications and costs.
• Prepare grant applications and proposals for new projects.
• Conduct research on new materials and technologies.
• Maintain communication with regulatory bodies concerning safety standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Professional registration as a PrEng preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in structural engineering

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• SAP2000
• Revit

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Communication

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Intermediate
