Job Description

As a Die Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing dies utilized in our manufacturing processes. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of dies, troubleshoot various issues, and perform preventive maintenance to minimize production downtime.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair dies used in production processes.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose die issues, providing timely solutions.
• Collaborate with departments to optimize die performance.
• Document maintenance activities and generate reports for management.
• Ensure that maintenance activities comply with safety standards.
• Mentor junior staff on die maintenance techniques.
• Improve die maintenance procedures for enhanced efficiency.
• Participate in cross-functional teams for process improvements.
• Utilize CAD software for die design and maintenance documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of tools and equipment used in maintenance.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in the maintenance of industrial dies.
