Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' health needs and risks.
• Collaborate with physicians on complex cases.
• Manage acute illnesses and injuries.
• Conduct health screenings and preventive care.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments.
• Train new staff and interns in clinical procedures.
• Lead educational initiatives and workshops.
• Promote health literacy among patients and families.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Engage in telehealth consultations as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Nursing or equivalent
• Nursing Practitioner board certification

Experience

• 3+ years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting

Technical Skills

• Medication administration
• Electronic health records (EHR)

Soft Skills

• Critical thinking
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Certified in Infection Control (CIC)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
