Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team in Pretoria. In this role, you'll provide exceptional patient care, develop nursing plans, and collaborate with physicians to ensure the highest quality treatment for our patients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, a strong patient-centered approach, and a commitment to health education and wellness.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and record patient medical history and vital signs.
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care and help coordinate patient treatment plans.
  • Educate patients on post-operative care, medication schedules, and lifestyle adjustments.
  • Provide emotional support for patients and their families during treatment.
  • Conduct routine diagnostic tests and interpret results under supervision.
  • Engage in patient advocacy to ensure quality care and patient rights.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress.
  • Maintain sterility and cleanliness in the healthcare environment.
  • Assist in preparing patients for surgeries and other medical procedures.
  • Document and manage supplies and equipment to ensure availability.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or equivalent)
  • Registered Nurse certification and valid licensure to practice in South Africa.
Experience
  • 2+ years of clinical nursing experience.

Advantageous
