Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team in Pretoria. In this role, you'll provide exceptional patient care, develop nursing plans, and collaborate with physicians to ensure the highest quality treatment for our patients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, a strong patient-centered approach, and a commitment to health education and wellness.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care and support, including monitoring vital signs and health changes.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive nursing care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and updated patient records and documentation.
  • Conduct patient assessments and triage to prioritize care effectively.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
  • Assist in emergency response and patient evacuation procedures when necessary.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or equivalent)
  • Registered Nurse certification and valid licensure to practice in South Africa.
Experience
  • 2+ years of clinical nursing experience.

Advantageous
