Engineering Technician

Job Description

Seeking a motivated Engineering Technician to contribute to our engineering projects in Durban. You will support engineers in developing practical engineering solutions and oversee project implementations. Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving will be key to your success.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design and implementation of engineering projects.
• Assist in the testing of prototypes and laboratory investigations.
• Manage project documentation including contracts and reports.
• Support the engineering team with cost estimates and project forecasting.
• Ensure that all engineering work is performed to company standards.
• Assist in vendor management and supplier relations.
• Lead smaller projects independently or as part of larger teams as required.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Advanced certifications in technical skills are preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience
