Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join our talented team. The successful candidate will have experience in upholstery, focusing on restoring and creating beautiful sofa backs that meet our high standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Cut, sew, and upholster garments as per specifications.
• Monitor material levels and reorder supplies as needed.
• Communicate effectively with management regarding progress and issues.
• Contribute ideas for improving process efficiency.
• Document repairs and alterations made to furniture.
• Lead projects when assigned to ensure timelines are met.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Upholstery certification or equivalent experience

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in the upholstery industry

Technical Skills

• Upholstery Techniques
• Foam Cutting

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic
