Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in structural analysis and design, able to handle a range of projects from residential to commercial. You will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and safety of structures through innovative engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct load and stress analyses on structures to ensure safety and compliance.
• Prepare feasibility studies and preliminary design reports.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies to secure necessary approvals.
• Implement safety protocols and procedures on all projects.
• Facilitate training sessions for project stakeholders regarding structural integrity and safety practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience

Technical Skills

• ANSYS
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

• Team Leadership
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Chartered Engineer

Languages

• English: Fluent
