Job Description

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer based in Kimberley who will thrive in a collaborative environment. The role involves designing mechanical components, conducting feasibility studies, and improving existing designs to enhance performance and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in the mechanical design process ranging from initial concept to final production.
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible and practical.
  • Analyze test results and make adjustments to designs when necessary.
  • Facilitate communication between internal departments and stakeholders.
  • Conduct risk assessments on engineering processes and implement improvements.
  • Support the development of training materials and technical documentation.
  • Mentor junior engineers and interns.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Professional Engineering certification is a plus
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering
