We are seeking a skilled Tax Consultant to join our Durban office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in taxation and be able to provide strategic tax planning and compliance services to our clients. You will work closely with individuals and businesses alike, enhancing their financial health through efficient tax strategies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex financial data to determine tax obligations.
• Draft client communications regarding tax matters.
• Support financial reporting processes related to tax compliance.
• Advise on international tax matters for cross-border transactions.
• Enhance internal controls related to tax reporting and compliance.
• Coordinate with external auditors regarding tax matters.
• Review and streamline existing tax processes for better efficiency.
• Provide training sessions on tax compliance for clients.
• Assist in preparing presentations for client proposals.
• Engage in professional development to keep abreast of tax trends.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation
• Postgraduate qualifications in Taxation or related area is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in taxation or audit
