Job Description

The Vat House Laborer will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the cleaning, maintenance, and efficiency of the vat house operations. This role includes ensuring equipment cleanliness, performing routine inspections, and supporting the team in maintaining high-quality production standards.

Responsibilities

  • Keep the vat house and equipment thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
  • Carry out regular checks on machinery and report malfunctions.
  • Support the team in the efficient loading and unloading processes.
  • Document quality control tests and results accurately.
  • Work closely with colleagues to meet production targets.
  • Assist with scheduled maintenance for all equipment and tools.
  • Maintain a tracking log of cleaning and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Relevant vocational training in industrial cleaning or maintenance is an advantage
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
