Job Description

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and overseeing construction projects, ensuring they are structurally sound and compliant with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee structural designs for commercial and residential buildings.
• Coordinate with civil engineers, architects, and environmentalists on project plans.
• Conduct risk assessments and feasibility studies.
• Prepare technical drawings, schematics, and construction documents.
• Lead projects from conception through to completion while adhering to schedules and budgets.
• Manage project risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Advise on remediation strategies for environmental sustainability.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Professional Engineer registration preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in structural engineering
