Job Description

Seeking a motivated Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy operations in Durban. The ideal candidate will help prepare and distribute prescriptions, manage inventory, and provide exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and managing pharmacy inventory.
• Provide accurate information to customers regarding prescription and over-the-counter medications.
• Maintain patient confidentiality while handling sensitive information.
• Prepare and label medication for dispensing, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Support the pharmacy team in inventory management and restocking supplies.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to improve pharmacy practices.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in a pharmacy or healthcare environment

• Medication dispensing

Languages

• English: Fluent
