Job Description

Join our team as a Helper in mining, where you'll assist the Longwall Machine Operator in the operation and maintenance of mining machinery. This role is essential for ensuring safety and efficiency in coal extraction.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain and operate various hydraulic and mechanical equipment.
• Participate actively in daily safety briefings.
• Document and report work activities and safety incidents.
• Collaborate with engineers and other specialists to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in operating heavy machinery is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Experience with hydraulic systems
• Basic electrical knowledge

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Attention to detail

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience in operating heavy machinery: Hands-on experience with heavy equipment is a plus.
