Job Description

The Flat Ironer will be responsible for ironing and pressing clothes using flat irons in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate flat ironing machines efficiently.
• Inspect garments for quality assurance before and after pressing.
• Handle specialty fabrics with care to prevent damage.
• Report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Collaborate with laundry attendants for smooth workflow.
• Keep the ironing area clean and organized.
• Participate in training sessions for skill development.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 10 or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in ironing and pressing clothes.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Laundry Services: Prior experience in a commercial laundry or dry cleaning environment.
