Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our growing team in Bloemfontein. You will play a crucial role in designing and analyzing structures, ensuring safety and compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of engineering principles and be able to work collaboratively with other professionals.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative structural solutions to meet project needs.
• Analyze seismic, wind, and other environmental effects on structures.
• Create and manage construction documentation and reports.
• Work with building codes and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Assist in project management tasks, including budgeting and scheduling.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor construction progress and compliance.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns in best engineering practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in structural engineering

• AutoCAD
• SAP2000
• Project Management Software
• Revit

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PrEng)

Languages

• English: Fluent
