Network Administrator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to oversee our network operations in Cape Town. You will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure that the network system operates at optimal performance and is reliable.

Responsibilities

• Administer routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
• Analyze network traffic and performance data for improvements.
• Respond to network-related inquiries and issues from staff.
• Ensure compliance with IT security and privacy regulations.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Support and maintain wireless networking infrastructure.
• Manage vendor relationships for network services.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies for potential enhancements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• Further certifications in network management are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years in IT infrastructure and network management
