Job Description

The Social Science Research Assistant plays a critical role in conducting research to understand user needs and behaviours effectively. This position requires a passion for UX research and a strong analytical mind to derive actionable insights that will help shape our product design and strategy.

Responsibilities

• Support the UX Researcher in gathering qualitative and quantitative data.
• Help prepare materials for usability testing sessions.
• Facilitate workshops to synthesize research findings with the design team.
• Contribute to the creation of user personas and journey maps.
• Assist in creating reports and visual presentations of research outcomes.
• Monitor and report on competitor research and industry benchmarks.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Design, Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field

Experience

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in UX research or related field

Technical Skills

• Qualtrics
• Google Analytics

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication
• Analytical thinking

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with remote research methodologies: Knowledge in conducting user research using online tools and platforms.
• Familiarity with statistical software such as R or SPSS: Experience analysing data using statistical tools.
