Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will be skilled in diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health issues, providing exceptional care to our patients. You will work closely with a team of experienced veterinarians and support staff to ensure the highest standards of animal health.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat a variety of animal conditions.
  • Perform routine and emergency surgical procedures.
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to each patient.
  • Maintain communication with clients regarding their pets’ health.
  • Oversee the proper use of medical equipment and supplies.
  • Participate in educational programs and workshops.
  • Ensure the well-being of animals in our care through experience and compassion.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science
  • Postgraduate qualifications in specialisation preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of veterinary experience, including surgery

  • SAVC registration

Languages
