Job Description

We are seeking a Clinical Trial Data Manager to oversee and streamline the management of clinical trial data in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will work closely with clinical teams to ensure the integrity and accuracy of data collected from clinical trials. This role requires strong analytical skills and an understanding of clinical research processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the management of clinical trial data from collection through to analysis.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy through rigorous quality control measures.
  • Develop and implement data management strategies to enhance efficiency.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to address data-related challenges.
  • Generate reports and presentations on clinical trial progress and outcomes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulatory changes.
  • Participate in meetings to discuss project timelines and milestones.
  • Provide input during protocol development and study designs.
  • Assist in preparing manuscripts for publication based on clinical trial outcomes.
  • Offer mentorship to junior staff in data management responsibilities.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Master's degree in Epidemiology or related field preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in managing clinical trial data
