Job Description

We are seeking a Production Manager to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing production operations, ensuring efficiency and safety in the manufacturing process. You will lead a team of skilled workers while striving to improve productivity and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and supervise the production schedule.
• Ensure production is cost-effective and meets quality standards.
• Train and develop production staff on best practices.
• Optimize workflow and production processes.
• Identify and resolve production issues swiftly.
• Ensure tools and machinery are maintained properly.
• Prepare budgets and manage costs effectively.
• Collaborate with other departments for seamless operations.
• Maintain records of production metrics and outcomes.
• Engage in safety audits and compliance checks.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Manufacturing Management
• Master's degree in relevant field is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
