We are seeking a skilled Industrial Engineer to optimize our manufacturing operations in Durban. The ideal candidate will have experience in process improvement, lean methodologies, and a solid understanding of engineering principles. You will play a crucial role in driving efficiency and effectiveness in production while minimizing waste.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate areas of waste and inefficiency.
• Create process maps to visually represent production workflows.
• Engage with team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Suggest new technologies that could increase productivity.
• Perform root cause analysis on production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with external partners for process enhancements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or relevant field
• Master's degree in Engineering is preferred

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
