Pharmacist Job in Johannesburg

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified pharmacist in Johannesburg to join our health team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate prescription filling, patient counseling, and involvement in health promotion initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate medication therapy regimens for appropriateness.
• Conduct clinical trials and research as required.
• Facilitate workshops and health talks to educate the community.
• Advocate for patient adherence to their medication plans.
• Coordinate with physicians to modify therapy as necessary.
• Assist in the budgeting and financial management of the pharmacy.
• Ensure the pharmacy meets all health and safety standards.
• Prepare reports and proposals for pharmacy operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or similar
• Additional qualifications in clinical pharmacy are preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience as a pharmacist preferred
