Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Civil Engineer to join our Durban team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing civil projects from conception through to completion, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts in drafting plans and specifications for civil engineering work.
• Review and approve plans, specifications, and reports.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns.
• Monitor progress of projects and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Prepare and manage project documentation to ensure completeness.
• Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to gather input and keep projects aligned.
• Conduct site investigations to gather relevant data for projects.
• Utilize CAD software for design and drafting purposes.

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems: Experience with ISO quality standards and management systems.
• Experience in Public Sector Projects: Previous experience working with public sector infrastructure projects is a plus.
