We are on the lookout for an experienced Environmental Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in designing and implementing innovative solutions that promote environmental sustainability and compliance with regulations. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams on various projects, contributing to the protection of our natural resources.

Responsibilities

• Analyze environmental data to inform project decisions.
• Advise on regulatory compliance and sustainability best practices.
• Manage environmental audits and assessments.
• Foster relationships with regulatory agencies and environmental groups.
• Lead initiatives for reducing carbon footprint across all projects.
• Promote green technologies in the implementation of projects.
• Create detailed presentations for stakeholders and clients on environmental initiatives.
• Establish and maintain a comprehensive environmental reporting framework.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline
• Postgraduate qualifications in Environmental Management are preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of working experience in environmental consultancy or engineering roles
