Job Description

As a Drying and Winding Supervisor, you will oversee the drying and winding sections of our manufacturing operations, ensuring that production targets and quality standards are achieved. You will lead a team of operators while collaborating with other departments to optimize processes and maintain compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise all activities related to the drying and winding production lines.
  • Ensure production meets set quality control and efficiency standards.
  • Train new staff on operational procedures and safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular audits of processes and equipment.
  • Implement best practices to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Engage with the production manager to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on machine performance and maintenance needs.
  • Coordinate with logistics for timely shipment of finished products.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss challenges and solutions.
  • Motivate and lead your team to achieve performance targets.

Requirements

Education
  • Matric Certificate
  • National Diploma in Engineering or related field
  • Supervisory or Management qualification is advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, with supervisory experience preferred.
