Job Description

The Chemical Supervisor will oversee operations in our state-of-the-art chemical manufacturing facility. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring all processes meet company standards for quality and safety, managing a team of chemical technicians, and driving process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the chemical production facility, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
  • Facilitate training programs for new hires and ongoing training for existing staff.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Investigate production discrepancies and implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with quality control to address product quality concerns.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for team productivity and effectiveness.
  • Monitor production schedules and adjust as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Prepare reports on operational performance for management review.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field is preferred
Experience
  • 5-7 years of leadership experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations
  • Inventory management experience
Soft Skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good organizational and planning skills
Languages
  • English: Fluent
