Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, and maintaining various infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of engineering principles and a commitment to quality and safety in all aspects of civil engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Analyze data and prepare engineering models.
• Implement innovative techniques to improve construction efficiency.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in engineering practices.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of practical experience in civil projects

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Structural Engineering

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Civil Engineering Technician (CET)
• Certified Construction Manager (CCM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with sustainable design practices: Knowledge of and experience in implementing sustainable engineering methods.
• Experience with GIS technology: Proficient in Geographic Information Systems for project mapping and analysis.
