Job Description

We're searching for a talented Data Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting and optimizing data systems, ensuring data is clean, accessible, and efficiently processed. You will be working with cross-functional teams to set up data pipelines and develop data models that enhance our analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement data solutions that support analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with IT to ensure all data systems are running effectively.
• Streamline data workflows and automate reporting processes.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues proactively.
• Research and apply new data technologies and tools to improve workflows.
• Assist in creating dashboards and visualization tools for stakeholders.
• Train team members on best practices in data management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Statistics
• Master's degree in Data Analytics preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant data engineering experience

Technical Skills

• SQL

Languages

• English: Fluent
