Job Description

Join our dedicated pharmacy team in Pretoria as a Pharmacist. In this role, you will responsibly manage the dispensing of medications, counsel patients on proper medication use, and collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct medication therapy management and develop patient care plans.
• Educate patients about disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Manage pharmacy services to optimize workflow and improve patient satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with provincial and national pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Assist in managing chronic disease conditions through medication management.
• Engage in continued professional development activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a community pharmacy

Technical Skills

• Pharmacology Knowledge
• Compounding Skills

Soft Skills

• Customer Service
• Problem-Solving

Certifications

• CPR and First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Pharmaceutical Management Systems: Experience in using pharmacy management software is a plus.
• Certification in Medication Therapy Management: Certification in medication management to enhance patient care.
